"Pet Sounds for the millennial generation"
– The Huffington Post
Peter Su is an NPR-nominated songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist originally from San Francisco, self-producing his own wave of chill indie pop, buoyed by his love for catchy power pop melodies, Beach Boys-styled harmonies, and Weezer-esque longing.
His debut album, Lions on the Beach, narrates Peter's story as a 20-something in search of a deeper connection in life – carrying the listener from his time as an investment banker to the beaches of Santa Monica as a street performer, where he sang for his supper every day for 18 months.
After recording at Sunset Sound, Prince's LA studio, Peter released Lions on the Beach to sold-out audiences at The Hotel Cafe in LA and Hotel Utah in San Francisco and embarked on a national tour. In the same year, NPR nominated Peter for their national TinyDesk songwriting contest and his lyrics were published in Lyrics as Poetry, Volume 1.
Currently, Peter is working on his best song, his next one.
